”Tree Waqf Project” SOZECOM

This is a project in which economic trees are planted in areas whose populations not economically endowed. This project addresses many SDGs by ensuring job creation, reduction of hunger, protection of the environment against climate change, providing shelter for birds, etc. SOZECOM has acquired large land in Sokoto for this project. Parts of this land are being planted with economic trees, especially dates palm, and moringa.
