 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Donation of any amount of money by any person or authority to Sokoto State Zakat & Waqf (Endowment) Commission (SOZECOM) shall be made voluntarily and shall be deemed as such.
2. Donations shall be made for the aims and objectives for which SOZECOM was established.
3. Donations of any amount of money already made voluntarily by any person or authority shall be irrevocable.
4. SOZECOM shall not be liable for any donation of any amount voluntarily made, because of any mistake or error in respect of such donation.
5. SOZECOM will not compensate, whether through commission, finders’ fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to SOZECOM.
6. No condition shall be attached to any donation or gift made to SOZECOM by any person or authority if such condition is against the dictates of Islam.
7. No donation or gift of any amount of money shall be made to SOZECOM by any person or authority to carry out and/or do any illegal activity.
8. Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed before acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for SOZECOM.
